How Do I Sign Up for Classes?

First, I recommend coming to class to get a sense of our teaching styles. Then, you may sign up in person or on line for whatever 'Class Pass' option works best for you. Credit cards are accepted on line only.

Once I Know What Class To Attend, Then What?

Wear comfortable clothes, bring bottled water and a yoga mat if you have one. We supply mats and props at no charge.

Come to your first class early so we can introduce ourselves. You will fill out a registration form, set up your mat, and class will start.

* Please park in the lot that faces Belmont Street. If that lot is full, you may park in the lower lot. DO NOT PARK in the spaces directly in front of the lawyer's bldg.

* We try to start class on time. If you are running late, you are welcome to come into class quietly. Try not to get stressed on your way to a yoga class

Class descriptions :

Our classes are 75 minutes in length.

We supply props at no charge. Bring your own mat + bottled water.

 

Absolute Beginners- This class is held occasionally for individuals who are brand-new to yoga. While not regularly on the schedule, it can be added whenever there is a group of at least 3. The first 4 sessions you attend are $14 per class. After that, you may purchase whichever Class Pass option works best for you.

Level One or Levels 1+2- These classes cover the basics of a yoga practice and are a good place for beginners. The Monday 5:30pm class is more challenging; the Thursday 5:30pm class is 'Gentle' and is suitable for pregnant women and students who have trouble getting to the floor. For those, chairs are provided.

Level Two- More basic asanas (poses) and breathing techniques are introduced. Students are taken to deeper, more challenging levels. The Thursday 7:00pm class is quieter; the Sunday 8:45am class is more energizing.

Level 2+3- Students should expect to be challenged, both in the realm of asana, and in knowing when to dance along the boundaries of their practice and when to go in with more ease.

 

 Pricing:

 Drop-in to any class on the regular schedule for $14.00

 Elders, High School + College Students attend for $8.00

 

Purchase a 10-Class Pass for $110.00. Good for 3 months

Elders + Students may drop-in to classes for $8.00 You may also purchase blocks of half-price classes: 5 for $40 or 10 for $80

 

PRIVATE LESSONS for one or two people: $60.00 per hour

 

We try to make our classes accesssible to everyone:

If you are enrolled with Mass Health, Transitional Assistance, or Mass Help,

class passes are half-price. Other arrangements can be made by speaking with Liza personally.

  • They expire 3 months from the date of initiation.
